There\u2019s still more to learn, more to share and more to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-strategic-planning-beats-rushed-logistics\">Strategic Planning Beats Rushed Logistics<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the summit\u2019s key messages: sustainability starts with planning. <strong>\u201cIt\u2019s the timeline that kills us,\u201d<\/strong> said <strong>Mickey Curbishley, President of Live Productions at Solotech<\/strong>. <em>\u201cWhen everything gets put to the last minute&#8230; we end up air-freighting instead of sea-freighting. It\u2019s very expensive\u2014not only financially, but for the planet.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Curbishley detailed how poor planning leads to higher emissions and ticket costs.
