Accenture has acquired IQT Group, a Rovigo, Italy-based consultancy specializing in sustainability and net-zero strategies for electricity, water, and telecom infrastructure. The deal reinforces Accenture’s commitment to enabling a low-carbon energy system through strategic infrastructure projects. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Driving Sustainability in Energy and Infrastructure

Founded in 1995, IQT Group has 450 employees and extensive experience in engineering managed services. The company supports Italy’s clean energy transition under the EU’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and focuses on net-zero infrastructure design for electricity, water, and telecom networks.

Accenture plans to integrate IQT Group into its Industry X practice in Italy, bolstering its capabilities in implementing strategic net-zero projects.
