The announcement comes as SDG News serves as the Official Media Partner for the Nature Summit, the only Official Side Event taking place alongside the UNFCCC’s Global Climate Week in Panama, Co-hosted by the Government of Panama, PVBLIC Foundation, and Global Resilience Partners, the Nature Summit brings together leaders from governments, business, and civil society to accelerate solutions for the planet’s most pressing environmental challenges.
Amir Dossal is one of the world’s most recognized champions of partnership-driven solutions to global challenges. As the founding Executive Director of the United Nations Office for Partnerships, Dossal helped shape the UN’s modern engagement with the private sector, philanthropy, and civil society–mobilizing resources and building collaborations that have strengthened the UN’s capacity to advance its global mission.
Dossal is also the Founder, President and CEO of the Global Partnerships Forum, a nonprofit platform that convenes leaders from governments, businesses, and foundations to develop high-impact partnerships for sustainable development. He is the Curator and publisher of Vision for the Future, a global initiative that showcases bold insights and transformative actions of leaders and changemakers. Dossal’s leadership extends to his role as Vice Chairman of Global Resilience Partners (GRP), an international advisory firm that structures public-private-philanthropic partnerships.
