For fifteen years, Trammell S. Crow has been quietly — and sometimes loudly — reshaping the global environmental movement through the power of convening. As the Founder and Chairman of EarthX, he has created one of the most unique spaces in the world: a forum where climate scientists and conservative lawmakers share a stage, where indigenous leaders discuss innovation with Silicon Valley founders, and where world leaders, family offices, investors, and activists encounter one another not as adversaries, but as collaborators.

What began in Dallas as a bold experiment has since become one of the planet’s most dynamic catalysts for environmental progress.

The Evolution of EarthX: From Expo to Global Force

In 2019 — the final year before the pandemic — EarthX reached a scale few could have imagined at its founding. More than 170,000 people filled the expo halls, film screenings, and conference rooms. For three days, Dallas became a global crossroads for nature, climate, innovation, and community.

Then the world shut down.

And Trammell S. Crow did what innovators do — he adapted. EarthX evolved from a gathering into a year-round information ecosystem, launching EarthxTV, an environmental media platform now available in tens of millions of homes. Climate stories could reach beyond ballrooms and stages — becoming part of daily life, global awareness, and culture.

The message had left the room and entered the world.

Earthx2026 — A Milestone Anniversary

Now EarthX prepares for its fifteenth gathering — April 20–22, 2026 — a return that promises not only the spirit of its early years but a broader global mandate. The ambition is unmistakable: EarthX is scaling impact, investment, media, and diplomacy simultaneously. And with that comes programming designed not just to inform, but to ignite.

Alongside open-access conferences, EarthX is home to invitation-only strategic summits that convert ideas into partnerships, capital, and execution:

  1. E-Capital Summit — 10th Annual
Where innovators and investors accelerate climate technologies, commercialization, and deployment.
  2. Island Resilience Summit — 8th Annual
Returning to EarthX after convening Heads of State from across the Pacific and Caribbean and dozens of ministers and ambassadors working to secure resilience for frontline nations.
  3. Family Office Summit — 3rd Annual
Bringing global investors and philanthropists into the climate arena with intention — not charity, but capital designed to scale solutions.

These summits are engineered for outcomes, not photo-ops. They represent the strategic backbone of EarthX — the place where introductions become alliances, agreements, and accelerators of climate progress.

And this year, a new pillar joins them.

Debuting at EarthX: The 2026 Nature Summit

Following its inaugural high-level series co-hosted with the Government of Panama during UNFCCC, CBD, and UNCCD negotiations — a gathering of 190 governments across climate, biodiversity, and desertification — the Nature Summit arrives at EarthX for the first time.

Its mission is clear, urgent, and executable:

Connect family offices directly with proven nature-based solutions ready to scale around the world.

Not a panel. Not a report.
A pipeline.

The Nature Summit embodies the next evolution of EarthX — diplomacy meets capital, policy meets deployment, and environmental stewardship meets investment readiness.

When Ideas Become Action

EarthX doesn’t just showcase climate work — it produces it.

One example now etched into U.S. political history:
the creation of the Bipartisan American Energy Dominance Caucus, launched by Representatives Chuck Fleischmann and Marc Veasey after sharing a fireside conversation at EarthX. A Republican and a Democrat — co-founding a caucus together — because EarthX put them in the same room.

This is Trammell Crow’s thesis in motion.

Bring people with different perspectives together long enough, openly enough, and without fear — and transformation follows.

Why EarthX Works

There are large conferences. Grand expos. High-level summits.
But EarthX has something none of them possess:

human alchemy.

It’s the expo floor buzzing with invention.
It’s the strategy meetings hidden in quiet corners.
It’s the partnerships sparked at a late-night conversation over a glass of wine at Trammell’s home.

Those legendary evenings — invitations only, but stories everywhere — are woven into the mythos of EarthX. Governments have changed direction there. Investments have been seeded there. Lifelong alliances have been born under those lights.

EarthX is not simply a forum — it is an accelerant.

And Trammell S. Crow is the man holding the match.

As EarthX enters year fifteen, it stands as a testament to what one builder can create when he refuses to accept division as destiny. Trammell S. Crow didn’t build the world’s largest environmental convening — he built a place where the world meets itself, challenges itself, and chooses to act.

EarthX is where progress finds partners.
Where solutions find capital.
Where leaders find each other.

And where the future, once a question, begins to look like a plan.
