Empowering Youth Through Education

Varaidzo (Vee) Kativhu is a Zimbabwean-British education activist and YouTube visionary known for her relentless efforts to bridge the gap between academic ability and self-belief. Founder of the organization Empowered By Vee, she uses her platform of over 500,000 followers to help underrepresented students recognize their potential. Vee, an alumna of both Oxford and Harvard, has received numerous accolades, including the Diana Award and recognition from Michelle Obama and Prince William, for her transformative impact on education.

A Global Advocate for Girls’ Education

As a dedicated Girls’ Education Activist, Vee is committed to improving educational access for girls worldwide, particularly in marginalized communities. Beyond her charity work, Vee is a published author of “EMPOWERED,” a motivational self-help book. She aims to work alongside global change-makers to reduce the number of girls out of school—currently over 130 million worldwide. Her vision is to address educational inequality and empower the next generation of female leaders. Vee also continues her active role with organizations like United World Schools, CAMFED, and GirlUp Zimbabwe, advocating for a more sustainable and equitable world for all.
