Located in Burnaby, British Columbia, the new <em>Redwood manufacturing facility<\/em> represents a pivotal step in scaling industrial carbon capture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cToday, we are making history,\u201d said <strong>Claude Letourneau, President &amp; CEO of Svante<\/strong>. \u201cThis gigafactory is a critical step forward in building the infrastructure necessary to scale up the carbon management industry and to build a marketplace for physical CO\u2082.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-massive-manufacturing-capacity\">Massive Manufacturing Capacity<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Spanning <strong>141,000 square feet<\/strong>, the Redwood plant can produce enough MOF-coated solid sorbent filters to capture <strong>up to 10 million tonnes of CO\u2082<\/strong> per year.
