This marks the first release in a new series aimed at equipping insurers with the tools to address nature-related risks and opportunities within their underwriting portfolios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-closing-the-nature-guidance-gap-in-insurance\">Closing the Nature Guidance Gap in Insurance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>While the financial sector has made progress in assessing nature-related risks, insurance-specific underwriting guidance has remained limited. Most existing frameworks focus on investment and lending.
