Kore’s solution is based on three imperatives: it must be practical, compatible with existing infrastructure, and profitable to scale. In 2021, Kore partnered with SoCalGas to prove the concept, operating the first full-scale reactor in downtown Los Angeles under the country’s strictest environmental standards.
This year, in partnership with Waste Management (NYSE: WM), Kore is launching the first modular carbon-negative reactor at the landfill in Lancaster, California, transforming diverted organic materials into valuable energy.
