At the 2025 High-Level Political Forum (HLPF), UNIDO hosted the side event “Better Skills, Better Jobs”, alongside the Permanent Missions of Austria and Ethiopia. The gathering brought together private sector leaders, civil society, and academia to explore how skills development and fair employment practices can strengthen global value chains.

A key moment was the pre-launch of FairShare Academy—a digital platform designed to support sustainable business growth. By embedding the LKDF’s Sustainability Curricula, the platform will help users meet evolving sustainability regulations, adopt green practices, and scale access to sustainable finance.
