This future bond issue has the potential to increase access to the financing available for initiatives that conserve, restore and protect biodiversity in Colombia.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-continued-efforts-in-sustainability\">Continued Efforts in Sustainability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2023, BBVA financed over 214.8 billion pesos for biodiversity and conservation projects, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Smart Agriculture:<\/strong> Supporting sustainable farming to preserve ecosystems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Marine Conservation:<\/strong> Financing respectful fishing projects and wetland recovery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Eco-Tourism:<\/strong> Promoting sustainable tourism practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BBVA&#8217;s commitment to sustainability extends beyond financial investments. The bank&#8217;s efforts in environmental conservation, inclusive growth, and emission offsets underscore its dedication to building a greener future.
