October 2024 recorded 139,000 cyclists daily across 30 locations\u2014up from 89,000 in 2022\u2014the largest jump since records began in 1999.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>London&#8217;s walking and cycling commissioner, Will Norman, said he was <em>&#8220;excited about the increase of cycling in the Square Mile.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-cyclists-dominate-peak-traffic\">Cyclists Dominate Peak Traffic<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>People cycling now account for 56% of all traffic during peak commuting hours.
