regulation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aligning all voting decisions solely with <strong>shareholder value<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disclosing participation in ESG coalitions such as <strong>Climate Action 100+, GFANZ, or PRI<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-a-continuing-political-battle\">A Continuing Political Battle<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The move follows a wave of anti-ESG actions since the election of President Trump\u2014ranging from <strong>divestments<\/strong> and <strong>lawsuits<\/strong> to political campaigns urging firms to abandon environmental and social priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While noting \u201cencouraging steps\u201d by some firms\u2014such as exiting climate alliances and softening ESG rhetoric\u2014state officials warned that \u201cmore work must be done\u201d to meet their standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cWe expect detailed evidence that your
