International sustainability and human rights expert Bex Hall has launched her own boutique consultancy, Bex Hall Sustainability. Advising businesses, governments and NGOs globally, Bex combines subject matter expertise, practical experience and stakeholder engagement to deliver lasting results.
Bex shared that ‘at a time where businesses around the world are clamouring to implement regulatory changes and address political tension on ESG matters, the core purpose of sustainability work cannot be forgotten; the people and planet we are striving to protect. Even those well versed in corporate sustainability practices are finding the current environment disheartening and turbulent, so it’s no wonder many organisations who are new to sustainability are overwhelmed. I’ve launched my business to bring trusted support to businesses – regardless of their sustainability maturity – and help them achieve.’
Speaking about some of the biggest challenges facing businesses today, Bex notes that ‘the recent unpredictability of legal and customs changes ricocheting between governments means greater risk for workers in global supply chains, as the quick re-sourcing of goods will likely reduce time spent on supplier due diligence, and higher tariffs eating into profit may result in procurement teams being pressured to drive spend down, affecting wages paid throughout the supply chain.’
Bex has a long history in sustainability consulting, most recently founding and leading the inaugural Consulting department at Sedex. She has a longstanding relationship with the UN Global Compact in the UK and USA, sitting on the UK Network’s Business Advisory Board and delivering human rights due diligence training to participant businesses. ‘It’s an honour to work with the UNGC Networks in both countries, and to be able to contribute to the attainment of the SDGs for some of the worlds’ biggest businesses’.
Alongside corporate consulting, Bex also offers sustainability communications and brand partnership services.

Alongside sustainability and human rights consulting, Bex also offers career coaching for women in sustainability. ‘I’m fortunate to have received support in my own career from incredible women, and believe strongly in empowering others’.
