It combines <strong>qualitative and quantitative disclosures<\/strong> to give a holistic view of banks&#8217; exposure to climate risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe Committee acknowledges that the accuracy, consistency and quality of climate-related data are evolving, and therefore it is necessary to incorporate a reasonable level of flexibility into the final framework.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cUsers need to consider the disclosures holistically, understanding the strengths and shortcomings of the disclosed information.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-global-monitoring-and-future-revisions\">Global Monitoring and Future Revisions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Basel Committee will <strong>monitor the implementation of this and other international reporting frameworks<\/strong>, and evaluate the disclosure practices of internationally active banks.
