Fashion Industry Veteran Joins Mango’s Board

Mango has appointed Helena Helmersson, former CEO of the H&M Group, as an independent member of its Board of Directors. The move is part of the fashion giant’s ongoing push to professionalize its management structure and align with international governance standards.

Toni Ruiz, Mango’s Chairman and CEO, welcomed the appointment:

A Strategic Voice for Global Growth

Helena Helmersson brings more than 20 years of fashion industry experience to the board, having held senior roles at H&M, including CEO from 2020 to 2024, and previously leading sustainability, production, and global operations. She currently chairs the board of Circulose and serves on the boards of On Holding AG and Quizrr.

Board Expansion Aligned With 4E Strategic Plan

Helena Helmersson joins a well-rounded board comprising both executives and independents, including:

  • Executive Directors: Toni Ruiz (Chairman & CEO), Jonathan Andic (Vice Chairman), Daniel López, Margarita Salvans
  • Independent Directors: Jordi Canals (IESE), Jorge Lucaya (AZ Capital), Jordi Constans, Marc Puig (Puig), Manel Adell (ex-Desigual), and now Helena Helmersson
  • Non-director Secretary: Eugenia Jover
